Welcome! This site provides a way of converting dates from the Gregorian calendar to the Dreamspell calendar.

The Gregorian calendar is in use throughout the world today. It's an annual calendar with 12 months varying from 28 to 31 days each. It has a leap year mechanism every 4 years or so to synchronize with the seasons.

The Dreamspell calendar was brought to us by José Argüelles around 20 years ago. It is somewhat based on various aspects of the Mayan calendars. It also is an annual calendar with 13 moons of 28 days each and an extra day each year. In addition, it ties in the Mayan Tzolk'in calendar.

To convert a date, select the date in the Gregorian Calendar Date section in the upper left. Change the year, month, and day to the date you want, and click on the Select button. The corresponding date will appear in the Dreamspell Calendar Date section.
